I Am Poem

I am a slave child. I hear my mother sobbing loudly. I see my friends and their families kicking and screaming as they are being hit over and over again. I feel terror for myself and my mother. I send that my brother is already dead. I touch my mother's arm, shaking her, trying to wake her up. I see blood running out beneath her, she had been shot. I taste the dirt and the blood as i am thrown onto the ground and beaten. I come angry, rise up, and try to grab his gun, I scream "you killed my mother, you killed my brother, you killed everyone!" But I am struck down, I hear a gun cock close to my body. I feel myself fading away as I see the blood flowing out, my blood. I am a slave child, and I can now join my mother and brother in heaven.
