I Am Not Okay

I thought about you today but not in the way I used to with wondrous eyes and a thirst for adventure it took three whole months but now I can say that I was never the problem but you, with those brown eyes that could make me feel everything and nothing all at once and your heartbeat pumping through my veins making me your own I never had a chance I never had a choice and that’s not fair how can you come into my life and replace every thought with you and not care this is your fault but you can’t change the way you’d sing me to sleep and then leave in the morning the sunrise never changed but you sure did
