I Am Not a Star

I am not a star I do not shine I'm but a stone with a pastel glow. Find me in your empty universe... Don't seek for diamonds I wear no glitter. Don't seek for gold I do not shimmer. I am not radiant nor am I bright I'm just a pale shade of warming light which spreads sweet comfort like scented jasmines falling so softly into your night.

Maybe we don't need a bright glaring blinding light because a soft comforting and pale glow feels so much better when it finds our eyes. So lovely.
