I Am My Soul Within

Author Dana Redricks May 23, 2023 I am not my hair, nor my skin so fair, for my soul resides within, my beauty beyond compare. It's the essence of who I am, so pure and true, a spirit that shines bright like a radiant light. Yes, someday my body shall fade away and decay, but my soul will live on, in its own special way. Where I go to spend eternity is up to me. Heaven is my home where I'm destined to spend eternity to dance with the stars, and soar with the wind, a boundless energy that will never rescind. For my soul is eternal, it cannot be confined, to the earthly limitations, of our own human kind. So let us cherish our souls, and nurture them well, for they are the essence of us, beyond mortal shells. Let us know in our hearts, that we are so much more, than just our mere exterior. We are destined for so much more that's what we are living for. For when our time comes, and our journey is done, our soul will blaze on, like a never-setting sun, our life here on earth is done, our eternal life will have just begun.
