I Am My Rose's Thorn

How dare he!!! He is beholding her beauty.... my most treasured and precious loved one, in his eye! I see his desire for her oozing forth like volcanic lava! Go away!...GO AWAY!!! It is my responsibility to make sure that no one....... NO ONE steals her! I was designed for this very moment. It is my divine duty and the highest honor to instill a painfully painful lesson to this blossom stealer.... a thief of my most beautiful One! Yes, she absolutely belongs to me and I will not let her go without extracting.... a drop of his blood! YES!...I will show him the error of his way! If I must enlist the assistance of the others much like myself, "Hah"....I will not hesitate nor will we show him any mercy! None whatsoever!!! He will know we exist!!! Thief!.....you're a thief!!! Pain!...... PAIN will I inflict with the ultimate enjoyment of prickly pleasure! I will issue forth one of life's most painful reminders to he who would try to steal my precious, precious Blossom! She's mine!!! I am prepared to give my all! I will pierce him and break away from my stem....if need be! She is MY Rose!!!..... Mine!!! and I.... I.... I am.... my Rose's thorn!

What's most obvious to me is that this person must learn that you cannot own anyone. That aside - great poem from the viewpoint of the jealous one, something I think every human has experienced. You laid out the feeling of jealousy, beautifully ... CayCay

Thank you CayCay! The jealous emotion is so so powerful and it's energy is actually flat out destructive. Even in writing from that perspective it was really a different sense and feeling-one my experimentation has ended. Thank you for your words-they are greatly appreciated!

Yes Silent One! So true, so true! I was using the thorn's view but I do also see your point quite clearly! Jealous passion can emerge in so many ways! My true nature is the exact opposite and it gave me the "other" side of the coin view! Thank you for your insightful words. Admittedly there was a different sense while writing this! Light is preferred over the dark...I do prefer healing words and those of love! Thank you!
