I Am My Mother's Child

I continue to laugh when a joke is far from over At night, I sleep with my head under the cover When bad things happen I go into denial Yes, I am my mother's child My hands shake when I'm nervous God Almighty, High and Righteous Is probably disappointed of my lifestyle Yes, I am my mother's child When I walk, I wobble When I talk, I tend to stumble Sometimes I like to wear my hair wild Yes, I am my mother's child When I love, I love hard I like quotes on Hallmark cards I hate hot sauce and love mild Yes, I am my mother's child
