I Am Asking For Your Mercy

I am asking for your mercy: I have never been a good father, husband or a friend, I never really listened to the troubles we were in, when you all needed someone to be there for you, I only thought of myself, cause no one else would do. I am asking for your mercy from your kind sweet heart, to forgive me of my sin that tore our world apart, some day I hope you find it, deep within your heart to allow your love and kindness to rekindle a little spark. You always tried to warn me that we were falling apart, to get our selves some counseling and relight the fire in our hearts, If I would have listened to what you had to say, we'd still be here together, yes deep in love today. Why I'd had to wait till all the damage was done, I lost my only family, my wife daughter and son, Jesus I really need you, yes I need you in my life, because my only true family, just drifted out of sight.
