We may grow old in body, but our mind and actions are who we are. Think about that before you act or speak.
I Am a Man
By Franklin Price

I am a man grown old too soon
At least in other's eyes
Inside I feel a youngster
Outside I'm in disguise
The hair is gray, well mostly so
Skin wrinkled, signs of age
No six pack stomach, now rotund
Getting up is all the rage
I'm fortunate to have my health
Get around without a cane
No problems here of which to speak
If I did I would refrain
For physical's what others see
How I think is really me
How I interact with others
Defines the man I want to be
Tip my head and say hello
To strangers on the street
Ask how they are doing
To everyone I greet
Love my family and my friends
Hope they know I'm here for them
Will listen if they contact me
If in need or on a whim
For if I've learned one lesson
That serves me well still yet
It's to always care for others
For what you give is what you get
