Excited to see what the long night has spun,
I awaken my gift in the summertime sun
I will stretch my long neck to peer far across
the sea of your lawns, and your carpets of moss.
I've been kissed by the teardrops of a night that is gone
I rise from the clover, with a promise, beguiled
I'm destined to bring some joy for awhile
A wish will come true with one wisp of a breath
that will blend with the wind, fly up to the crest
of a nursery rhyme song that will make children smile
I'm a little white star in the hand of a child
Born to be cherished, then sown to grow wild
Dandelion
Love's oracle, Happiness, Faithfulness
