I Am
I am, the nothing
I am, the everything
The embers of misty memories
The heat in the heart of forbidden love
The futile ashes of yesterdays beginnings
The storm-filled air
Where treasonous thoughts fight for acceptance
In a mediocre existence
I am copper and colour and molten metal
Fused with love, hate, passion
Enraptured by vision in a blinded existence
A babies cry, a banshees wail
The olfactory reverence of a loved ones perfume
I am silk and velvet, leather and lace
The eagle, both regal and soaring
The bear, gruesome, yet protective
The Earth, the Heavens
The all and the nothing...
