I Alone Am Darkness
If I could catch the mood in you,
and hold it in one hand or two,
I'd stuff it deep down in my soul,
and hope it never moves.
But if it does,
and leaves me in the dust,
I will search under every rock,
for something that resembles us.
And when I am born again,
like metal shines before the rust,
I'll keep in mind a different time,
and then I'll die, only if you say I must.
I alone am darkness,
like the love without the lust,
like the sun and the moon,
like the you that makes the light of us.
