Hypocrisy

People claiming to have moral or religious beliefs, But doing the exact opposite of what they preach. Trying to lead by example making themselves look holy, When in reality they're just hypocrites that are lying. Hypocrisy is having a character that's not virtuous, Someone lacking these qualities that they don't really possess. A pretense of having some desirable, Skeletons in their closets making you doubt if they're reliable. How hypocritical to claim to have a publicly approved attitude, But outside the congregation acting outrageous and rude. I can't stand for someone to preach from the word, But ignore everything they've said leaving you wondering if there's any truth in what you heard. People need to clean up their own backyards, Before trying to pass you with the guilt card. Hypocrites are here and hypocrites are there, These kinds of people are everywhere. The hypocrisy of it all trying to live with lies, Making you seem what they do is right. Doing the same thing that you did, Coming up with reasons trying to justify it. Hypocrisy is such a shame, Hiding who they really are is so inhumane. April 28, 2014 ~ The One and Only~
