Hymn To Nature

Glorious nature, surrounding all From the valley to the waterfall In you, everything starts And in the end, to you, departs The tree, the worm and the bird All make sense, yet are absurd Who would conceive a bird to fly? Who would imagine a fox so sly? Look at the sun in all its splendor And the moon, filled with wonder See the beauty of the shining stars Who have witnessed all our wars Under the branches of the great oak tree Lies a world, more complex than thee Within the folds of the flowing rivers Are born the stories of wondrous creatures Along the lines of the soft breeze Fly and work countless bees When you perceive a flower up close Your senses awaken through your nose For its fragrance is heaven on earth As wonderful as a baby’s birth In your ears plays a marvelous song Calling you to play along To forget your worries and all your pain Just leave it all and go insane Get intoxicated by the color of peace Embrace it all, fall to your knees Fall in love with the adventure Pay your debt in a hymn to nature
