Hush of Christmas Past- Christmas Memories By Carol Johnston

Hush of Christmas Past - Christmas Memories by Carol Johnston Christmas used to be lots of fun, waiting for aunts and uncles and cousins to come. The Christmas dinner would be late, but oh the yummy food we ate. Then everyone would take a rest until it was time for afternoon tea. Christmas cake and a glass of stout for the oldies.A glass of lemonade for me. Now its all changed. My siblings have moved on with children of their own. So Christmas Day they spend with them and my partner and I are all alone.

Carol, how sad it is that times have changed, from having family around for the holidays, to not having them around because they have their own life. I know the feeling. Hugs and blessing eve
