Hurt

A constant flowing,draining thought, Deep inside it ought to rot Cold and lifeless limp and done, A heart so battered loved by no one Wrenching, pulling at the strings, Saying oh the meanest things The hurt and pain of everything causing, Moments and seconds I find myself pausing Clouded and streaming down my face, Tears so thick from another place Beaten, broken into pieces of a story, stared down now by the man in all his glory Down I go and there I'll stay, Hidden for ever as I fade away
