Hurricane Matthew
Mother Nature's
devastation, you leave behind with your rage
Why do you leave so many homeless with your behavior?
What had we all done to wake your havoc?
The floodgates in the sky have opened.
Like a thief you break-in violating homes, taking evening the leftovers
The streets have turned to rivers,
in rage caring everything in its path to their death
Trees brought down like twigs as your breath leaps to speeds
We whisper a silent prayer,
"Still your heart"
~
unrestrained weather
extensive devastation
brings humanity
