When you found me I was hungry You knew exactly what I was hungry for Feeding me just enough Leaving me wanting more Calming every craving Not quite quenching every thirst Tending to my every need Always putting me first All at once I tasted something bitter Something wasn't right I turned my head away But you were there to force another bite It was then I knew I had tasted this before Something I despised Choking on your poison Swallowing all your lies
