Hunger
What am I allowed to intake?
Random bits of parts of pieces that you drop from your plates,
Grovel like many have before,
Begging for more.
Words of distrust or yearning or lore,
Community culture and revisions of history.
Promises kept broken.
Lives not lived stolen at birth,
Cradled close like passion and thirst.
So save up all your bits and pieces and parts,
Make feast fast frenzy then sleep,
At feet of jury crimes still un-revealed,
Still begging for more.
What am I allowed to take?
