Humble Pie
Humility is a virtue,
I wish it were a statue,
So I would take a closer look,
And perhaps find a hook,
To attach my neck,
Or better still my leg,
That from it I would never stray
Underneath would I stay,
My heart would find rest
And my pride a nest.
Eventually it would hatch;
Into nothing closer a match,
To my imperiously naughty,
Remarkably haughty,
Attitude towards society.
