Hug the Cutest Teddy Bear
Hug the cutest teddy bear
when nobody wants to share;
with his cute face so humane,
he won't mind singing your refrain!
Put him where light keeps him warm as sand;
lay him on the pillow where you laid your dreamy head,
or in the crib where you cried while little bells rang...
hear the voice of mom attending with caring hand!
You have turned sixteen and sweet memories you keep
of this gorgeous toy that you bought in a country fair,
remembering he was awake while you were asleep;
trust this cutest teddy bear: he'll never pull your frizzy hair!
