'how's Life'

Remember when we met up Laughed, talked about life Times were good Now look at us Sitting in silence Staring out the window at the snow piling up Can't answer "how's life?" Without getting choked up And you know it too You haven't had it much easier So we sit in silence Embracing each other's presence Your phone rings "gotta take this" Some talk about some serious business "I have to go" A kiss on my cheek And out to the snow I watched you leave Never to come back into my life again

very well put- true love learns to leave, to let go and be strong to move on. Mohan

agreed, but the one who loves truely has to develop the strength to let go for he/she wants the happiness of the loved and be ready to sacrifice one's happiness. it sounds strange but it works, though it is tough and a long process over time. ultimately, one find peace, self respect, nearness to god, possibly a more truer love in this process. light and love.
