Howling Wilderness
In the silence of pitch dark night of loneliness
A sweet melodious voice calling me from far
My heart craves to go there
The disabling shackles of loyalty stop me
Call me not, I’m not free
I wish I was a bird
Free floating in the horizon
Chirping and singing the Hymn of God
These killing bondages of life
My soul imprisoned in the cage of values
The waves of adversities rocking the boat of hopes
My body a cold storage of my desires
O caller! Stop calling me
Your melody enchants me
But I have jobs undone.
