How the Heck

How the Heck! We’d lost our cat; I searched the house calling “Here kitty, kitty” and outside we scanned the streets, all to no avail. Later, in the bedroom, I heard one loud “Me-ow” and saw through the crack of one closed drawer two green eyes peering out. A true story. To this day, we don't know how she ended up in that high dresser drawer with it being closed! 1/21/2017 - an etheree For Broken Wing's Form E Poetry Contest

A cat-burglar perhaps it was hiding from! Good luck, Andrea, and some mysteries are best left unsolved, because generally when the truth is known it loses its appeal! Budgie by the way! Haha.

Ha. Ha. Cats are such funny creatures. She was probably in the drawer and someone shut it without noticing her.

Nice sweet poem Andrea. Cats do all kind of mischiefs and this one was one of them. In India there is a belief that if one can get the placenta ( which is always eaten by the cats after they give birth to baby cats) and can keep it saved from cats & dogs it brings big fortune and wealth in that house. And I have seen this tried by a known family in Lucknow India how they are now rolling in money. Hope the story is interesting. Love best wishes & thank you once again for liking Baya bird. rkk

Well told Andrea. Cats are very good at getting into tight spots and then not remembering how to get out again. Likely your cat crawled into the dresser drawer from the back which never closes completely. God Bless and a 7 from me. JB

Hahaha, cats and enclosed spaces, they love that! I live with my sister, her family and 4 Maine Coons. The weird places we sometimes find them??? And they are huge, but still.
