How nice

If stagnant air turns breeze, how nice, Desire, to ‘was’ from ‘is’, how nice. What was mere flash has flared to fire, If doubts fade, in fire cease, how nice. If mind’s every crease straightens up, Body be on free lease, how nice. In heart are hidden mind’s intrigues, If all bare, hers and his, how nice. It’s hard to forgo world for good, Yet, if we can with ease, how nice. _________________________________ Ghazal |14.04.2024| spiritual, peace Poet’s note: Based on a Gujarati Piece by Kiran Jogeedas (no translation)
