How Great Thou Art

The vastness of Space, Such an awesome place. Impossible to conceive, That we alone breathe. Whether God or Big Bang, Gave creation its start. Who are we to say, We are a race set apart. In this ever expanding Universe, It's impossible to believe that Man, Is all there is in this vast plan. Among the billions of stars we see, We live in just one very small Galaxy. Many planets that we cannot see, There is no way that I can see, That this was made for just you and me. My Bible tells me what God created, It tells me what He wants me to know. I now see there is more He has to show, But so far away we cannot possibly go, Its beauty just makes my heart glow The vastness of it all from the start, Simply makes my heart want to sing, My God, How Great Thou Art. © Dave Timperley 04 September 2016
