Hourglass

With steady hands, I carved an hourglass Encapsulating human life inside Sands dripping within my work of art Moments fleeting inside my wondrous creation Alas! Our time is really Gold! Our Past, Present and Future Makes our life story unfold! Past is history A history to learn and view Showing our own weaknesses and doings Memories either pleasant or mournful We cherish good times And sober over bad moments Wake up to the present New challenges arises, new faces to meet Learning is an endless process Knowledge is neither good nor bad Utilized it to bring wonders to the world Tomorrow is a mystery A mystery to investigate Everyone holds the key, lock yet to be discovered Different routes leads to different destination Hourglass within me
