Hotel Inter-Continental - Kabul

This is a light-hearted poem of the "Inter-Continental" hotel that overlooks "Kabul" built in 1969 - that has had its fair share of attacks over the years THE INTER-CONTINENTAL HOTEL - KARBUL Welcome to the Inter-continental, this must hotel with a view Journalists head for the windows, and take themselves a pew You can see half of Kabul below wherever it’s the day or night If the Taliban come be ready as they not half give you a fright From there you get to see; Hekmatyar, Dostum, and Massoud Giving Kabul whatever as whenever they were all in the mood O' yes’, the Inter-Continental; it’s the best hotel for the views Where; all the best journalists come, to give you all the news Even admire the bullet holes in the walls' whilst sipping a chai You take your chances coming here, really a case of do or die Don’t dare book a function here when officials booked a room Least the Taliban might turn up, and then it is all boom, boom O' yes’, the Inter-Continental, it is the best hotel for the views It has its own very unique history; and is forever on the news It really has the best firework displays that you will get to see But, as you are actually the view, it is not the best place to be It has been a long time since 2011, which left 21 people dead But; if you like a sense of adventure it is the place, enuff said Indiana Shaw . . . ; )
