Horses Are Stars_Part 2
Horses are stars--they certainly are-
They run in the pasture, not going far-
They snort and they rear with full tails flying-
Loyal and loving, they never tire of trying.
Horses are stars, as their humans all know-
So awkward at birth, but soon ready to show-
Blacks, whites, paints, and reds- beauty with speed,
A rider who knows them is all that they need.
Yes, horses are stars, but they gladly share their spaces
With human friends and loved ones as they go through their paces-
Horses ARE stars who deserve fame and glory-
But believe me, dear reader, that's not all of the story.
Horses are STARS-there's no doubt about that-
In wars, in movies, in life--they wear many hats-
But always their hearts, to their humans are true-
Horses are the stars--may their lives always be cool.
