Horrors of the Night

Hunters cry hear me roar The voice in my head dawned on me Roam through dirt deep dark woods Whispers of winds soaring through Shadows appeared clutching doom Footsteps approached only to fade The chills went slowly down long spine They crawled outside with phantom wings Waiting to devour with just one pounce They scourged around nowhere to turn The push came first pressing them down On all fours they fiercely marched The fog so thick blindness loomed Reeling in fear they disappeared Shaking them off which ever was Thoughts of release to be no more
