Hope's Road
It is so easy for us to give up hope
On the things we work so hard for
In minutes from the peak you are falling down slopes
And feeling like you have been moored
I cannot explain how people have felt
When dealing with altercations
In the minds of many or thyself
In causes such acute frustration
Could it be that hope requires time?
Or is it really not that simple?
To wait and wander the streets of time
While your soul begins to dimple
Behold the things that are to come
Will be there soon enough
Hold on tight, walk do not run
For the road is dark and rough
