Hopeless and Helpless

Pain comes back, Back pain again Unrelenting waves Waves of hurt, Tears flow down in Unending waves To move is pain To be still is pain, From neck to knee, No relief do I see. The pain is not mine, It has been in the past. So I know it won't last After a time it goes away. Only to return another day. My wife is in such pain I stand helpless and hopeless, Her pain awakens memories, I know the suffering she feel. I long to take it from her. I stand hopeless and helpless. © Dave Timperley January 2016.

A great write Dave, pain affects us in in different ways and can seem to take over our lives, glad your wives back pain is improving, seeing others in pain does indeed make you feel helpless and hopeless. God Bless

One of the hard things about back pain is that it is abused by many and is scorned by many when it is really there. I know the signs of true back pain all to well. So glad that it is all behind her now[pardon the pun!] God Bless. D.
