Hope

She tries to get over it..but how does she? When she remembers that you're the one who made her 'bazodee' That you're the one who made her smile, For hours and hours despite the miles. How does she get over the memories that were made? We both know those things don't fade. Or perhaps she doesn't want them to because she's holding on to something that seems like hope.. Hope- for what can happen again Hope- for another spark Hope- for you to come back Hope- to start over So she dwells on the 'what ifs' Neglecting that she's putting her life on pause, For someone who would never return no matter the cause. Hiding her emotions is what she does best Smiling so much that her face never gets a rest. But deep down inside she feels the pain, Pain that she tries to contain Knowing that she'll never feel the same way again.
