Hope

In a world of pain and suffering People lost and in despair This world remains in darkness Violence everywhere. Marriage break ups, sex is cheap Morals have all gone Families torn apart with grief Where did we all go wrong. Knife crime is rife among our youth They rob the old for gain They are fueled with drugs and alcohol To hurt and kill and maim. The future of this world today There's not much hope around Religion's try to show the way But within them flaws are found. The Politicians have no answer As darkness rushes in Can anybody save this world From drowning in its sin. In this world of darkness There is hope a light I see For only He can save this world And set the captives free. Religion it will fail Politicians too Only Jesus Christ the light of the world Can break this sin in you.

Like the way you make the distinction between love for Jesus and religion, Leon. And if you find a way to stop the madness, please share it. I've been asking myself many of the same questions. Love, Carolyn

You are so right it is not religion only our Lord and Savior, Jesus. I have never seen this world so upside down as it is now. I feel Jesus is drawing near, very soon. God Bless. Ron
