Homeward Bound

HOMEWARD BOUND Do you hear me, my beloved? Can you hear me, one true love? Do you hear me? Say you hear me. I am calling out to you. I am whispering ‘tween the raindrops lost in gentle fall of the leaves, crying tears of missing you, love longing, waiting in the dark. Will you answer, call me home now to your heart and open arms to be homeward, bound safe forever never again. to leave your door. I can hear you, hear your voice love wrap my arms full all around you hold you close love, one more midnight ne’er again be apart from you. Do you feel it, sense my soul, love coming home and standing there, standing there with open arms love and love unmatched e’er before. See your face, love, that wide eyed smile I am coming, coming home I’m coming home to you tomorrow I’m on my way, I’m Homeward bound. Here I am my beloved Can you feel me, my true love? Do you feel me? Say you feel me. I am calling out your name Whispering ‘tween the teardrops lost in gentle fall of leaves, crying tears embracing you, love no longer, waiting in the dark. no longer, homeward bound.
