Homeless
I've sat and I've pondered how fairness could be Some people convinced it's so
simple to see
But obviously their not the ones who've been told To vacate their houses and go
sleep in the cold
You who are out on black coat and tie dates While others eat garbarge with dirty
hands and no plates
Those with bellies tight as balloons full of air Others with sunk in chest filled with
pain,grief,and,despair
Doctors appointments blew off because they just can't be made While others
can't see them there's no money to pay
You might ride in a limo and have someone else drive While others pray each
day just to stay alive
These are people you see just like you and I Can't live the dream though they've
tried and they've tried
We need to think and decide how lucky we are We can have warmth as we drive
home in a nice cozy car
So we need to remember before we crawl snug into bed......To
Say A Prayer For The HOMELESS That They Don't End Up DEAD!!!
