I want to be that star
in your eye
I dream of you
every night it's a shame
I gave up the fight
what was I to do
you did me wrong
in every way
the saddest part is
I still love you with
every breath in my lungs
it's been months
but I can still taste your
kiss on my lips
I know it won't happen
but I just want you
to come back home
