Holiday Music

When Christmas music blasts in stores, It jangles all my nerves. I really do not understand The purpose that it serves. Such gaiety seems forced and fake, Especially to me, ‘Cause I’m not one to celebrate With wreath or Christmas tree. But recently inside a shop The dreidel song did blare. You’d think I’d be excited By a happening so rare. However, you’d be wrong For the reaction that I had Was that songs of Chanukah, in stores, Sound equally as bad!

Baahh. humbug! :) The seasons for the birds. All this phony hullabaloo is getting more absurd. But then the silent sentiment of sweetness in a smile. Melts the heart and soon the sounds do nothing but beguile. :) Peace. Merry Christmas ilene. :)

Yes, when it's so commercialized it looses its meaning. I can understand how that can be true of any music that is too loud and overdone. Me, on the other hand, I just dance! ;) I did at the Christmas banquet....Of course, it was secular music. It depends on the mood, I guess. Hugs
