Holiday Cheer Gone Too Soon
Look and you will see snow glisten
Softly as you gently listen
To magical tunes that play
For this special holiday
Wind is blowing peaceful breezes
Into hearts that always siezes
Harmony, love, care and fun
In a world where everyone
Shows their christmas joy and spirit
Spreading to all others near it
Magic lights so bright and pretty
Filling streets across the city
With a deep infectious glow
Blue, pink, yellow, indigo
Every second, minute hour
There is a magical power
That takes over for a while
Everyone should stop and file
these great sight and feelings
So when we start reeling
From the daily stress we find
Happy thoughts will fill our mind
Of a day of joy and laughter
Helping us forget disasters
Bringing us some magic back
That we seem to quickly lack
When this special seasons done
Our cheerfulness goes on the run
Not returning till we see
More mistletoe and nice holly
