Holding Honor Above All
My honor runs deeper than the core of the earth
For it is what makes me the man in the mirror
Many things I have learned since my birth
But learning makes everything much clearer
I think of the one who lives across town
The woman who I really do love
My head continues to spin all around
As I am taught from above
I know me and her can never be
For honor is something I hold high
This is something many cannot see
For they choose to cheat, steal, and lie
I know that without honor I am worthless
Without it I will become bound again
To others I would be low and helpless
But with it I have a lot to gain
It's a shame many chooses wrong
Otherwise we would all get along
