Hold On

Ten years sounds like a Long long time To never hear your voice And I wonder what it would be like If We never made that choice I see your kids on the social sites And I'm sure that you've seen mine I would walk a million miles back again just to make this right Give me love and I shall hold on To All the things i know we were It's not about the broken pieces It's about saving our world Open wounds they heal so slow Shattered hearts not so much In the end it doesn't really matter As long as you find love You and me were the best of friends And I took advantage of that hearts were broke many lies were told I can't take that back I know after all these years It may be hard to hear I'm sorry especially now For never being there Give me love and I shall hold on To All the things i know we were It's not about the broken pieces It's about saving our world Open wounds they heal so slow Shattered hearts not so much In the end it doesn't really matter As long as you find love When the light is grey, your heart is grim I'll always wish for you Some one to pick you up Someone to guide you through Times of trouble may lie ahead Just know you will get through Keep your head pointing up I'll keep the faith for you Give me love and I shall hold on To All the things i know we were It's not about the broken pieces It's about saving our world Open wounds they heal so slow Shattered hearts not so much In the end it doesn't really matter As long as you find love
