Hold Me
Tonight, hold me in your arms
Assure me MY love is best
Tell me I'm beautiful, fair
You've forgotten all the rest
Hold me…my love…hold me
Look deeply into my eyes
Tell me what I long to hear
Even if they are sweet lies
Hold me....my man…Hold me
I'm dying for your strong arms
I want to be cradled there
Feeling safe from earthly harms
I want to feel I’m secure
My sanity is restored
I want to hold on to you
Nestled in heaven, adored
Hold me...my life…hold me
I am growing faint and weak
I am in need of comfort
Words of love to my heart speak
Hold me...my sweet….hold me
This heart is about to break
I need you to rescue me
Hold me close, for heaven's sake
In this your gentle holding
If tenderness turns to need
Then consume me at your will
On my love for you now feed
Satisfied, let ME hold you
Till you drift off into sleep
Knowing you are sheltered
In this woman’s love, so deep
