His Queen

.............................They looked.
She saw him, He saw her,
In the morning light of the early Summer.
And when their sights interlocked, was when they could barely walk.
For their youth was just new, as the morning dew, that soaked their hands
and feet. Crawl turned to run, when their youth was barely due. As the meadows
rang and the crickets sang, when the sun began to set, Their abbey of golden grass did
wake. Together they reigned, in the shining cloak, of their arcane kingdom's vein. His
hand in Her hand, they pranced and ran, in the dyed riches of the August sun. As
the time came, when day was lame, and night was out to walk, they said their
byes, and lullabyes, and went to sleep again. Years go by, their dreams
come to pass, of their sun-soaked realm and streams. He grows tall,
kind and serene, like a King is meant to be. With eyes that spark
and a loving heart, He seeks,"The One for me". She grows with
grace, as her stepping pace, is that of an angel's gleam.
Her golden hair, glowing eyes, skin of softest creme,
reflects within her every step, like in their earliest
dream; Her smile could bring to the knees
                                    about anything that breathes, including
a childhood King. So He brings her
                                           to the meadow, where their
                                             friendship first entwined.
                                                  And asked Her to
                                                     be His Queen,
                                                       of another
