His Eternal Cup

It's when I am in the midst of trouble-
to my Lord my prayers are made double.

Because my Lord is my fortress and rock-
who keeps me protected from evil and foul talk.

Even when my family and friends lose their hope-
I will cling to it like a secure rescue rope.

Knowing that God will pull me all the way up-
so that I may drink form His eternal cup.
