hiraeth (n.) a sickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for the lost places of one's past.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ nothing takes you back like a smell-the scent of precious memories that transport one sick for home
