Hills To Street

The broad sky backing the mountain range, The narrow electric wire strewn skyscape of my street, The sprawling bungalow on the mountain slope, The deeply nestled dinghy of my flat in a corner of my street, The crystal clear water of the hill brooks, The dirty water of the drains of my street, The trees and greenery of the hills, The painted and covered walls of my street with posters and bills, The cool fresh air of the mountains, The smoked blacked and nitrogenous pollution of my street, For ten days in a year I went to live in hills, For the remaining I returned to my street.
