Hidden Heroes
09/24/2013
Sports figures and movie stars
Singing groups and trips to mars
Make everyone scream and shout
But heroes are not all about
Making money from their fame
Of acting, singing, signing names
People who act from their heart
Every morning when they start
To spread kindness, love and cheer
Showing the world that they care
Acting so unselfishly
Being there for you and me
Singing out with all their might
I will stand and always fight
For the helpless, poor and weak
Justice they will always seek
Signing their names on petitions
Making sure that their intention
Never fails to help strangers
And a world that’s full of dangers
Turn into a better place
With a smile on their face
So next time you want to praise
A celebrity on stage
Please remember next to you
There might be a hero too
