Hibernation
My heart, I placed in hibernation. It's cobbwebbed and dusty, in sleep.
I tell myself, it's just facination..so I leave it alone for safe keep.
Long ago my life changed..
and it's now rearranged..
as this hill that I'm climbing gets steep.
My futures been paved by mistakes I have made.
My heart, oh so yearning for light.
I think of back then..longing for zen..we argued..well into the night.
those tough words that I heard..almost crazy..absurd.
Were sadly, the last she would speak.
A seceret it seems..shattered our dreams
and pushed me to place my heart there.
Though I kept my word and I'll always care.
It's time for my heart to awake.
With her makeup just right and her nails painted bright.
She comes like a thief in the night.
As I sit and wait in a hibernating state.
clicking on refresh for my long lost dreams.
