Hi-De-Hi-De-Ho
Corona Virus is a bouncing down the street
saying hi-de-hi-de-ho to all the people that he meets.
He shakes each person’s hand in hopes they’ll touch their face.
He’s friendly and outgoing and he’s training for a race.
A marathon Champion is what he wants to be,
to outlast all the others in spreading his disease.
His specialty is spraying from his foamy mouth,
then smearing it from east to west and then from north to south.
Some thought they could outwit him, their age would save the day,
but soon he proved them all wrong, he just wouldn’t stay away.
He preyed on the old, the sick and the disabled.
Those with weakness in their lungs or other medical labels.
Our leaders can’t get testing right; they are not on the ball.
Its up to us to isolate for the first time I recall.
Corona Virus is still a bouncing down the street and beyond
saying hi-de-hi-de ho knowing he cannot be beat.
