Hey You

Hey You Most importantly. Happy Mothers Day to all of you mothers!! And to the fathers that for one reason or another try to fill that place in someones life. I also want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the times when I'm late in responding and I know there's been times with good intentions to come back and respond later. And it never happened. I'm sorry if ever there was a time it crossed your mind that I think too highly of myself because in truth you will likely never be more wrong in your life. Often times my struggle is a silent one and it centers around my own self worth. And honestly sometimes I feel completely unworthy of the comments and the praise for my poetry. And yet. Like many of you I recall every mile I ran, walked or crawled to get through hell to be who, and what I am today. Still. I've a ways to go. But you are helping me get to a better place. Each time you take the time to comment or reply another thread of an unbreakable bond is put in place. And I know the same is true of me. I promise to try to do better and please never doubt what you have come to mean to me in a short period of time. Lastly I was asked if Edwin C Hofert is a pen name or if it's my real name.
