Hershey kisses in my bed Spend the night with me instead Sweetness touching hungry lips Chocolate streaks on thighs and hips Decadence to pleasure me I forget where you might be Melting goodness on my tongue Better than the songs you’ve sung Treat of wanton ecstasy holds me fast in fantasy Hersey’s kisses, just one more This is what I’m longing for As I moan in state of bliss I forget your poisoned kiss. I've never tasted Hershey kisses, Eileen, but seeing the inspiration they produce, I am tempted to get some. I do hope they make dark chocolate ones! Hugs // paul

On how many levels do I love this? Let me count the ways! First, as a real life sleep eater, it validates this strange habit of mine; second, it is humorous, but, thirdly, the humor is so passionately-laced that it transforms beyond humor into complete Eileen-ness. I wonder if there is any chocolate in my house! Thoroughly enjoyed this poem. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

What a delicious comment, CayCay. I'm an emotional eater, and it is hard to be able to not binge when I'm in a state. Chocolate....a definite downfall. Well, at least I got a poem out of it. :) Hugs, dear.

Vegan?? Couldn't do it. Oh I could kick meat easy enough; but it's everything else! I have a cousin who is like vegan to the stars with published cookbooks and all; and it really helped her mother with some serious health issues. But now anytime she strays from the vegan diet even a little it's like she's even worse.

Hey, sweetie. I do love chocolate, but I had cut it out of my life when I was trying to be vegan. I was quite down when I attacked that pack of Hersheys. ;) Love ya!

Yes, dear...I was going for the dramatic. Gulping some Hersheys gave me the inspiration to come up with this vengeful write. I am a rebel at heart....Thanks for the visit. As for 50 Shades...isn't that Jaimie Dornan a DREAM!

Oh... too bad dear. I'd made some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and had some leftover kisses...I just wanted to write something after eating them alone in my bed. This is what came out of my head. Thanks for stopping by... if ever we meet, I'll give you some!

Thanks, dear. I was quite down when I was enjoying those. My hubby was in the States on a LONG business trip and as I was having a few among I my bed.... this poem sort of came to me...part truth... part fantasy. Congrats on daughter's communion party. :)
